Obituary for Ralph "Sam" Fox

Ralph Samuel Fox A.K.A. Sam, was born April 23, 1950 to the union of Ralph J. Fox and Lillie D. Dantzler Fox in Cleveland, Ohio. Both parents preceded him in death. Sam was the second of five children, two of which preceded him in death.

Sam lived in Cleveland, Ohio. He held several jobs, of them all he loved being an entrepreneur. One of his most successful was selling flowers for Mother's Day and Memorial Day. He left a great impression on everyone he encountered. His personality was unforgettable.

Sam attended Cleveland Public Schools. He married Ella Washington in 1987. He was a lifelong member of the Almighty Church of God in Oberlin, Ohio. He was anointed with the spiritual name of Zeal. His personality reflected this name. He was enthusiastic, displayed excitement for life, had fervor and eagerness, which is the definition of Zeal.

Sam was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He loved to fish and garden. He was always eager and proud to show anyone his garden and share his adventures of his fishing trips.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Ella Washington Fox; five sons, Richard Anderson, Harold Anderson, Zeal Anderson, Seth Fox and Aurus Fox, as well as two bonus sons Lonell Washington and Adrian Coats; one sister, Regina Sanni; one brother, Ramone Fox (Angela); many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
