Obituary for Estelle T Rockemore

Estelle T. Rockemore was born November 7, 1941 in Bogalusa, Louisiana to Luke and Tarlee Troullier (preceded her in death).

She was educated in the Bogalusa, Louisiana school system; graduating from Central Memorial High School. Upon graduation Estelle then went on to attend and graduate from Grambling State University; becoming an educator.

Estelle professed Christ at an early age. Upon moving to Cleveland she met and married Clarence Rockemore; to this union one son was born, Calvin Rockemore.

Estelle loved sports; she enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Ohio State's football team, and the Grambling Thanksgiving Day Classic. She also enjoyed sewing, planting flowers, and cooking.

Estelle departed this life for her Heavenly Home on Friday, January 19, 2024. She was preceded in death by her siblings Harold Span, Charles Span, Marcel Troullier, Nell Troullier, Pearl Span, Bernice Span, Charlean Span, and Lena May Troullier.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband Clarence Rockemore; son Calvin Rockemore; nieces: Nuella Thomas, Melvena Powell, Ana lee Mitchell, Celoia Dunn, Dianne Fowler, and Joyce Austin; nephews: Leon Rockamore, and Charles Rockamore, great nephews: Edward Maddock, Loncell Maddock, David Maddock, William Rockemore, and Ray Bolds; great nieces: Cassandra Bolds, Ariance Bolds, Rhonda, good friends: Pat Wilson, Linda Brooks, Salahudeen Brooks, Sultaana Brooks, Bayyinah Brooks, Phyllis Matthews, Fredrick Matthews, Fred Matthews, Jr., Eric Matthews, Derrick Matthews, Karen Hicks, Darren Kahari Hicks, Aaron Hicks, Bill Hicks, Artis Farmer, Samuel Shabazz, Michael Collins, Sylvester Person, Denise Collins, Vickie Collins, Karen Hatcher, Davina Hatcher, Kevin Hatcher, Chris, and Jeff; along with a host of other family and friends who will miss her deeply.
