Obituary for Damontae D. Pippens

Damontae Dasion Pippens was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 22, 2013 to Natravia Scott and
Damion Pippens, he was the third of four children. Presiding him in death is his great
grandparents, Edward and Elaine Scott; grandfather, Fred Pritchard; two great uncles Herchell and
Calvin Scott; two great aunts, Violet and Mary Scott; and aunt, Darnice Pritchard; three cousins,
Frederick Scott, Gregory L Darden, Jr., and Victor Jones; and one uncle, Robbie Howard.

Damontae attended the Euclid Public School system, such as the early learning Village, where he
went from Pre-K through first grade; he then attended Bluestone Elementary School from first grade
though the third grade. He then transferred this year to Shore View Elementary School; he was so
excited about being in the fourth grade, and riding the bus to and from school each day with his
little brother, finding out what new adventures and new friends were waiting ahead for him. He
continued his learning there until the time of his passing.

Damontae enjoyed passing the time away playing Fortnite with his brothers Brandon, Damion, and Davion, and
his cousins Carter, D' zin and D'sire. He loved to play football and basketball, and you could always
catch him making a TikTok video. He just enjoyed being around family and friends and had a smile that
would light up any room. He was just a loving carefree and kind little boy.

Daemonte also took pleasure in going to church on Sunday. He loved going to children's church, "The
Next Generation" and participating in the activities and events that children's church
would have. He would always come home and talk about what he did. He became
curious and started asking questions about Jesus and the Bible, and wanting to know what you have
to do to get to know Jesus, and he was also showing interest in and talking about wanting to be
baptized.

Damontae departed this earth suddenly on September 19, 2023 at Rainbow Babies and Children Hospital. He leaves to mourn his passing his mother, Natravia Scott; father, Damien Pippens; three brothers: Brandon Menefee, Damion Pippens, Jr., and Davion Pippens; grandmother, Sadie Scott; five aunts: Octavia Given, Latrena Scott, Lolita Pritchard, Dionna Pritchard, and Florencine Taylor; three uncles: Lorenzo Givens, Maurice Coleman, and Eliot Pritchard; five great aunts: Beatrice Scott, Sarah Scott, Cethel Scott, and Marjorie Scott; five great uncles: Edward Zeb Scott, Edward Fred Scott, Jr., Isaiah Scott, Ellehew Scott, and John Scott; fourteen cousins and a host of family and friends.
